Doctors hold a lot of our trust in everything they do. Our trust lies in their knowledge, their belief in safety and their skill in the care they provide. The truth is that they are human, and though they usually keep out safety and health at the front of their thoughts, things can arise in their life and cause them to be less than effective when they are providing us with care. This is always true when they are delivering our children. Things happen, and problems can occur.
We cannot allow our doctors to break that trust, and not take action when an avoidable injury occurs. If an issue arises and ultimately occurs that can be avoided, we should hold the doctor responsible. When complications that aren’t necessary occur in the outside world, we hold the guilty party responsible, why should it be any different for our doctors? In fact, they should be held to a hire standard because they work in the business of saving and delivering lives. Our lives are all we truly have, and when we put them in the hands of another, we need to be sure they are providing us with the greatest care available.

We should consult a the proper lawyer when a doctor doesn‘t perform a birth properly, and the child is injured as a result. Doctors often play God, but that does not mean that they are held to the same protection as the deity. They are humans as we are, and they are held under the restrictions of the law. They need to be at their best when providing us with care like delivering our child. If they aren’t giving the best possible care, or if something goes wrong, we should take legal action for ourselves and for the safety of others.
